Leading branding agency, Industry Partners, has unveiled its inaugural Law Firm Brand Survey, delving into a comprehensive 360-degree perspective on law firms. Open to in-house lawyers, lawyers working in private practice, trainees, paralegals, graduates, and professionals in marketing and HR, the survey aims to capture diverse insights.
Sholto Lindsay-Smith, Founder and Director, emphasised the survey’s unique approach: “We want to really get under the skin of branding and law firms. Too often sector surveys give a subjective assessment of the visual elements of brand purely from an external agency perspective rather than taking a holistic view. That’s why we’re asking everyone who works within the sector for their view.
“The marketing team are rightly regarded as the internal brand experts and custodians of a firm’s brand but increasingly we’re seeing HR teams recognise how important the employee value proposition is in recruitment and retaining their workforce. But it’s still wider than that. Brand touches everyone throughout an organisation and plays a pivotal role in the business.”
Debbie Spence, Managing Director, added: “We all know that there are some firms out there that people just love and others that they loathe yet most of us have had no direct experience of working there. Our survey measures internal and external perceptions of law firms as well as exploring the critical role branding plays in business development and client retention. We’re keen to understand where branding ranks on Boards’ priority lists.”
