Mishcon de Reya announces strategic hires in Business Development and Communications

Mishcon de Reya, a firm with an exceptional brand and reputation for innovation, disruption and boldness in the legal industry, has announced the appointment of two key posts, Wendy Dixon as the new Head of Business Development in Private and Clare Jennings and Alice Holmes as Director of Communications (jobshare).

These strategic hires, championed by Partner and Chief Brand Officer Elliot Moss, highlight Mishcon de Reya’s commitment to innovation, diversity, and modernity in talent recruitment.

Wendy Dixon brings over 20 years of experience from the advertising world, having held significant roles at Leo Burnett, Publicis Group, and as Global Chief Growth Officer for the M&C Saatchi Group. Her expertise in driving business growth and her role as a Non-Executive Director for Tasty plc align closely with Mishcon de Reya’s strategic vision. Wendy’s global perspective, shaped by her Canadian roots and professional experience in the UK and the US, will be instrumental to Mishcon de Reya’s business development over the coming years.

Clare Jennings and Alice Holmes join Mishcon de Reya as Directors of Communications in the firm’s first director-level job share partnership. Together, they have an extensive track record in leading strategic communications, campaigns, media and public affairs in high profile and influential organisations including Parliament, government and the third sector.

Prior to joining Mishcon, they were Director of Communications for the House of Commons 2018-2024, leading communications through a historic period of change and reform in Parliament. Their strategic approach, experience in organisational change and transformation and campaign skills will mark a new approach to communications at Mishcon.

Elliot Moss, known for his advertising background and his role in establishing one of the leading brands in professional services, told The Professionals: “The addition of Wendy, Clare, and Alice to our team is a reflection of our ethos – to find talent from different sectors and bring fresh and ambitious people on to the team. Their diverse experiences and innovative thinking will undoubtedly contribute to our firm’s continued success and growth.”

Mishcon de Reya’s openness to new ways of working, such as job sharing, and its ability to attract top-tier talent from various sectors, including government and advertising, demonstrate the firm’s strength in brand, professionalism, and dynamism.
