A fully-managed CRM system has been launched for smaller busy law firms to help them with their business development.
Called Promptr®, it works as an add-on to Outlook, the ubiquitous email tool that underpins all client and contract communication and does away with expensive and complicated database-driven CRM systems.
Developed by CRM guru, Simon McNidder, Promptr® draws on his experience of developing CRM systems for PwC, Pinsent Masons and, more recently, Gowling WLG.
Promptr® promises all the benefits of a complex CRM based on the simplicity of the day-to-day use of Outlook.
“We are all used to hearing the complaints ‘the data is rubbish’, ‘my new clients aren’t listed’ or ‘nobody’s using it’,” Simon told The Professionals, “and Promptr® solves that without fee-earners even realising.”
Instead of a complex database, Promptr® is delivered seamlessly via Outlook. With simplicity at its core, users get timely email prompts, automatically added contacts, a side toolbar you can turn on/off, and easy-to-access database charts and reports when you want more insights.
“And what’s more, it is fully managed by us,” adds Simon. “We provide, implement and manage the software. We train and support users, and we add your contacts and update your data.”
