Slaughter and May has appointed Caroline Davies as its Head of Communications. She joins from Mayer Brown where she was a Senior PR & Communication Manager.
Alex Legge has been appointed Global BMC Consumer & Health Sector Marketing Director at EY
Markel has promoted Alex Parry to Marketing Manager. Markel provides specialist insurance products to the legal industry.
Challenger law firm Harper James has made several new hires to its marketing and business development team of the summer. Lisa Price joined as the firm’s Head of Marketing Communications. She was previously Head of Marketing at TLT. Doug Millar joined the firm in July as its Head of Digital Marketing and Data, and Alison Gamble as a Marketing Manager.
Helle Asquith, Head of Marketing at Harper James told The Professionals: “As a challenger law firm, Harper James has been carving out its own journey since 2014, rethinking the traditional lawyer/client relationship and pricing, the workplace – the firm is almost entirely remote – and a non-traditional law firm culture. And that approach extends to our marketing and BD.”
