Ashfords appoints new Marketing & Client Development Director

National law firm Ashfords has appointed Sam Hunt as its new Marketing & Client Development Director, as it looks to future growth and the further development of its client service offer.

Sam is an experienced marketer having spent over 20 years’ working with professional services businesses across the marketing and business development mix, most recently at TLT where she led the firm’s Marketing Communications and Campaigns team and prior to that with Osborne Clarke and PwC.

Sam will work with the Ashford’s Board and the firm’s CEO Louise Workman to help define, shape and execute the firm’s commercial strategy across brand, marketing and client development.

Ashfords CEO Louise Workman commented: “Providing a rewarding environment for our people and the best service for our clients underpins how we grow our business. Sam will be an integral part of the Ashfords team developing and then delivering that experience for our people and our clients.”

Ashfords Marketing & Client Development Director Sam Hunt commented: Ashfords has a clear focus, to provide the best service for clients and actionable advice that works in their world. In a complex and increasingly disrupted market, this straightforward approach is a strong proposition from which to grow the business and I’m excited to be part of the talented Ashfords team doing just that.”

Ashfords recently increased its top tier rankings in the industry’s independent guides Legal 500 and Chambers in London and the South West and across its business and private client work.

Louise Workman was elected as the firm’s CEO in May 2020 and has spearheaded the firm’s client service quality standard – ‘Ashfords Expects’ – a core part of delivering the firm’s strategy around excellent client service. Ashfords is a full service national firm supporting clients with their business and personal needs.
