M&A advisors launch podcast to help creative agencies through recession

Waypoint Partners, a global growth and M&A advisory firm, has launched its Waypointers podcast, designed to share insight, advice and knowledge from the leading lights of the creative, digital and tech landscape.

With new episodes published regularly, the podcast brings together industry leaders, agency founders and expert voices.

Waypointers aims to help businesses understand their value and recognise where performance enhancement is required to bring better returns.

Waypoint Partners specialises in corporate finance and growth advice to businesses in the creative and technology sectors. Their focus is building scalable growth, value creation and realisation to businesses at any stage of development.

The podcast comes as agencies face financial pressure from the recession and cost of living crisis, and the first episode features best-selling author and sales coach, David Kean, who argues that recessions can yield growth opportunities for agencies. Though, he points out that they need to be proactive and ‘in shape’ to achieve this.

Every episode has a different theme, and upcoming topics will focus on the importance of mentorship, how the European software industry can compete with Silicon Valley, and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs).

Phil Gripton, Partner at Waypoint Partners, hosts the first episode of Waypointers. He said: “We are delighted to launch our podcast and widen our support to developing companies. For over 30 years, I’ve held commercial leadership roles and focused on optimising businesses. This is an exciting next step in helping businesses achieve growth. We are confident this podcast will be insightful for leaders in the agency, tech, creative and digital eco-systems.”
