Top 100 law firm Russell-Cooke has appointed Simon Moffat as its Director of Marketing and Business Development.
Moffat joined the firm in October 2023 from RPC where he was its Head of Business Development, a role he held also at Charles Russell Speechlys.
The appointment follows a period of rapid growth for the 62-partner, 250-strong firm, with revenue increasing by 20% last year to £46m.
“The firm has a rare balance of private, commercial and not-for-profit work with a terrific reputation in charities, crime, family, private wealth, and real estate – and indeed across a number of other areas – and is looking to inject greater professionalism and structure into its marketing and business development activity,” Moffat told The Professionals.
Sitting on the Board, Moffat will work with the senior leadership team to develop and deliver the marketing and business development strategy in accordance with the firm’s strategic plan. In particular, he will look at the focus of the firm, the ways it goes to market and its brand.
